About Chris Riley

At Microdesk, Chris is responsible for providing technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services to building engineering firms in the New England area.

Prior to joining Microdesk, Chris served as a designer for over 5 years at a major consulting engineering firm in Boston that specializes in MEP systems for buildings, central heating and chiller plants, power generation, and transmission and distribution design.

His skills include completing mark-ups presented by engineers and designers for all 3 major MEP trades; HVAC and trade equipment selection; duct and minor pipe sizing; project drawing and CADD setup; client interaction for major project construction drawing presentation and updates; and heating and cooling load calculations.

Chris is knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Autodesk Building Systems (ABS), and Autodesk Revit Systems, and is studying HVAC Design at Northeastern University.
